Sag Aaloo


Ingredients of Sag Aaloo

1 - Two tablespoon Sunflower Oil
2 - One Onion ( fine Chopped )
3 - Two Garlic Cloves (Sliced )
4 - One tablespoon Chopped Ginger
5 - 500g potatoes, cut into 2cm, ¾in chunks
6 - One large Red Chilli ( halved deseeded and finely Sliced )
7 - ½ tsp each black Mustard seeds, Cumin seeds and Turmeric
8 - 250g spinach leaves

How to Prepare :

First of All Heat the oil in a large pan and add the Onion Garlic and Ginger.Now fry for about 3 minutes. Stir in the potatoes, Chilli, spices and half a teaspoon of salt and continue cooking and stirring for 5 minutes more. Add a splash of Water cover it and cook for 8-10 minutes.
Check the potatoes are ready by spearing with the point of a knife and if they are then add the spinach and let it wilt into the pan. Take off the heat and Enjoy it.
