Simple Jeera Rice With No Salt
Ingredients of Simple Jeera Rice With No Salt
1 - One Cup Basmati Rice
2 - 1.5 Teaspoons Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
3 - 3 to 4 Tablespoons Chopped Fresh Cilantro/ Coriander Leaves
4 - One Tablespoon Olive Oil
How to Prepare :
Wash and soak basmati rice for 30 minutes. Heat a wide pan on medium heat, add oil, when hot reduce the flame and add cumin seeds, coriander leaves, mix well. Drain the rice and when the cumin seeds crackle add the rice and increase the flame to medium heat. Do not burn the cumin seeds. Fry for 1 to 2 minutes till the water evoparates.Add 1.5 cups of water and bring to a boil.Simmer it till the rice cooked.Serve Simple Jeera Rice With No Salt hot with any gravy curry.
