Ingredients of Chicken Karahai
1 - One kg Chicken ( cut in small pieces )
2 - 1/2 cup clarified butter
3 - Four tablespoons Ginger & Garlic Paste
4 - Eight red chillies
5 - One teaspoon Coriander seeds
6 - Four Tomatoes ( chopped )
7 - Four Green Chilies (chopped)
8 - Two tablespoons Green coriander
9 - Two tablespoons garam masala
10 - One teaspoon dry fenugreek powder
11 - Salt to taste
How to Prepare :
Heat clarified butter in a wok. Add ginger and garlic paste and saute till light brown now Add the red chilies and coriander seeds and stir for 30 seconds. Add tomatoes. Cook for few minutes and add green chilies, green coriander and ginger.Mix well and reduce heat to low
Add the chicken pieces and cook on low heat till the gravy thickens and the chicken pieces become tender.Stir in the garam masala, dry fenugreek powder and salt. Cover and cook for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and serve Chicken Karahai hot..
