Naan bread
Ingredients of Naan bread
1 - 300g Plain flour
2 - 15 cl Semi-skimmed milk
3 - 50g Natural yoghurt
4 - 25g Caster Sugar
5 - 5g Maldon Salt
6 - One Tablespoon Sunflower Oil
7 - 5g Baking powder
8 - One Whole Egg
9 - 5g Black onion seeds
How to Prepare :
To make the dough:
Place all of the ingredients into a food mixer with a dough hook. Start on a low speed and as the mixture comes together increase the speed until it become a smooth and elastic dough.
Now Remove the dough from the mixing bowl and wrap in cling film and allow to rest for fifteen minutes at the room temperature.
To shape and cook the bread:
Now Preheat the oven to 250'C and place 2 flat baking sheets in the oven to heat up.
Cut the dough into 6 small pieces and then roll into small balls. Dust with flour and then shape the dough into individual Naan breads using your fingers and the heel of your hand.
Place the naan breads on the the trays in the oven and cook for ten minutes.
Serve immediately and Enjoy...
